This is part of the Smaugust challenge where I have to draw a dragon themed artwork every day for this month. I also have a prompt list just for fun. I thought I would try this because I don't draw dragons often and I would like to practice and it just sounds fun to ^w^
I originally was going to draw a rough rock dragon like the pokemon Onix but instead I decided to try putting different types of stones together and I love how it turned out. X3 the head and neck is rough natural rocks with moss on them. the nose is holes cut into it and the eyes are cracks in the rock. the body and tail are made of smoothened rocks you might see in decorations. on its back it has a smooth hole with a little puddle of water in it. its tail balances these stone together. even though it looks precarious it never falls coz it is held up with magic. the tip of the tail is a straight cut cube. the legs are rough cut rectangles like you might find in decorations. the front has one leg and the back has 2. the wings are made of a combination of these smooth and rectangle stones with moss holding them together to catch air.
it is said this dragon is created from the rocks which lay around where a dragon dies and the dragons soul and excess magic possess the rocks to make this dragon.
