My second attempt, this time using Vallejo paints. And I did properly sand it this time (almost to perfection, I think)
Learned that Army Painter starter brushes are pretty bad, they were losing hairs all the time. Got some Meng brushes and they are way better at holding their shape. I think the little details (the black lines) turned out way better

Forgot to mention, Vallejo paints smell nice! Compared to all the rest.
