Another random quick sketch my stylus wanted to get out. Every time I see this poster I think how much Donny would love this tech and would use it loads to meet new people and socialise.
Yes, I've had a vague fic idea about this concept for ages - how Donny would use it to socialise and feel a connection to others, form friendships and even romantic bonds. Where he can completely be himself, physical form an' all. But there's an underlying sadness that he knows whilst he is accepted in this virtual world, it's only because people assume he's a human, and they would actually be afraid of him if they ever met him in real life, even though they fully accepted him and his 'avatar' in the virtual world. How he his accepted and validated in one world but not in the other, and the only difference is his physical appearance. So knowing this, a part of him still feels lonely and separated, even surrounded by his 'friends'. It's a bit of a sad concept when you think about it really. I can see him getting addicted to going into the virtual world as his reality is just too lonely and stressful, even though in the back on his mind he wonders if his connections in the game are 'real'. Lol, I've clearly thought quite a bit about this concept and what that kind of tech would mean to the turtles and their isolation! Too many ideas....not enough time.... XD

You really have thought about it! I'd love to see you explore this either through a comic or fanfiction. I could imagine him trying to explain his feelings to his brothers. As much as Mikey is a social character, Don suffers as much or more, because he is a true genius who can't share his ideas or inventions.
