Character Description
Asuang, also known by his title, the arbiter of malice or misfortune, is the brother of Gugurang, the arbiter of power, and one of the original inhabitants of Avilon who inherited the abilities of the celestial beings. Initially a warrior guardian of Avilon, Asuang possessed super strength and super speed to display dominance over his opponents much like brother, however, unlike Gugurang, he is able to fly like many other winged creatures. He can also shapeshift into various creatures and people which is considered his most unique ability. He had much less imposing abilities compared to his brother until he had gained new powers from the sacred flame. Pyrokinesis was the first new ability he had gained upon absorbing the sacred flame, which he showed burning down the majority of Avilon and killing millions of creatures in its wake. After his awakening in the present day, Asuang gained even more new powers while sealed away within Malinao volcano. He developed the ability regenerate lost or destroyed body parts, control all forces associated with darkness and malice and transfer his blood into other creatures thus turning them into monsters. He is now also able to gain voluntary control over any of his dismembered body parts, including his own viscera. Lastly, his power to control the forces of both living and dead creatures have remained despite no longer being in possession of the diminished sacred flame.
Personality
Asuang can be described as devious and two-faced, but he is also known to be very intelligent and calculating despite these traits. He also displays a form of god complex, which makes him constantly feel like he's above everyone else, including his own brother. His enviousness of Gugurang's power and authority over the inhabitants of Avilon showed a vulnerable side of his overheated ego, which led to his downfall as a guardian and becoming the resented prince of darkness that he is now. Upon reawakening in the present day thousands of years later, his malicious intentions had grown even more unprecedented as he now wishes to create an army of monsters to devour and slaughter everyone the have descended from Gugurang's bloodline while hiding from within the shadows as his accomplices do all the dirty work.

Background/History
Asuang and Gugurang once worked together to maintain order and balance among every living creature and spirits alike. Gugurang, however, was tasked in guarding the forbidden treasure left behind by the celestial deities known as the sacred flame, an eternal flame that is used to grant any creature the power to control the life forces of both physical and spiritual beings, and he himself was the only one allowed to use the flame's energy to protect the inhabitants from harm. Asuang grew envious of his brother's power and privilege and had attempted to steal the sacred flame that was locked away in the Mayon Volcano for himself. He would then share it with those that oppose Gugurang's authority. Wanting to rule the land of Avilon, Asuang absorbed the sacred flame, granting him power over both the living and the dead. He used the last remnants of the sacred flame to set Avilon on fire, killing millions of its inhabitants and all that his brother had protected for so long. Enraged by Asuang's heinous actions, Gugurang faced his brother in a decisive battle, resulting in the latter's victory. Gugurang entered a deep slumber, and Asuang was greatly disfigured and was sealed away within the Malinao volcano to burn for eternity for his crime. Unfortunately, thousands of years later, he eventually was able to free himself with the abilities left behind by the sacred flame and would devise a new plan to take over Avilon from the shadows by enlisting those that would serve under his name, transforming them into monsters to destroy and devour the descendants of his brother, which would continue up to the present day.
