At least staples are somewhat less noticeable than duct tape. And surely such emergency measures are something no decent, polite person would remark on. After all, I think we've all be in a position where we had to make do with something makeshift were we couldn't just run home to fix it properly.

Most definitely. It's a good test of our improvisational skills to figure out a good way to fix a wardrobe emergency like this.
I like Cynthia's eyes, too. They're much better looking now with lights and darks instead of flat color. These colored-in sniglets and liff have been good for improving my coloring and shading skills. I made her outfit for her job at the office, so I figured it needed to look good (apparently, she likes pink). I'm glad I succeeded. :)
