Hmm, I have a recommend to the text in your images. Because color to background contrast can they be hard to read.
I can see that in the full scaled image you have a lovely drop shadow behind text. How do you making that? Is it Photoshop effects layer, or in other program do you copy layer or channel and manipulate from there?
Because that can help text stand out much more, but shadow or other outline trapping must be larger and higher contrast to do it.

OK. In that case, you add "maximize" (or "minimize"? I forget which one..) step before het blur step, then you can make trapping around letters be stronger.
I'd be interested see how that turning out. Especially in scale down versions from your images, when text might blend into het background ja? ^^
