So yeah, the artist knows what you're thinking, the anatomy is bad. But there's also attempt at shading after taking a lesson. And while it sucks he has to go back to the very basics at least after some times practicing he can now say that things are slowly going better. And he really feels like he's on a journey, going on one, a very long one, hence the cloak, and the thinking bubbles to remind himself that he can't give up and it's not meant to discourage himself. It will take time of course but he will succeed on this journey with better anatomy, shading, and lighting.
