Yes I like Skyrim and it did consume a big chunk of my time for a while. Though not enough that I didn't still stop to draw this guy. My Khajiit character. ^^

It had been a long day for M'Shan as he walked into the Inn room he'd rented for the night. He'd Been traveling long and hard all day and the whipping snow outside had not made it a very fun day for the normally desert dwelling Khajiit. That said his hunting along the way was reletively good. Some Elk and wolves mostly. Even a Fox. The Pelts currently lay in a corner of the room. They'd be worked into something tomorrow when he went down to the Forge. M'shan smirked at them glad not to have burnt them. He'd switched from using fire spells to electric ones to make sure he wouldn't ruin the fur. He still had a ways to go before he'd reach his destination at the Mage College but he was enjoying the Journey as well. As he clipped his diaper cover shut letting the diaper he'd worn that day soak in a barrel nearby he looked back at the picture on the wall. A painting of a Dragon. M'Shan giggled a bit thinking about what the locals had called him. Dragonborn. It sounded nice. He didn't mind. He liked it. Having some kind of connection to such a rare and exotic creature. As he laid down on his bed staring at it finding a sweet role from his pack to nibble on he wondered if the Shouts he'd learned could be used to really communicate with one. Only time would tell. For now he was content to relax in his nice warm room in a fresh clean diaper and listen to the winds outside as it snowed.

Well hope you guys liked the pic and the lil story. ^^

I've started a new character, finally giving him a more traditional Khajiit name. Started out with the mage college storyline and just finished it at level 17... without having gotten my first shout. >:3 I beat the dragon priest guy at the end of Labyrinthian by using the staff I got out of Saarthal and a staff of sparks (since at level 17 without a lot of heavily enchanted equipment, my Magicka doesn't last long when dual casting lightning bolts), and swapped out with the staff of Magnus to do the same to Ancano in that final battle.

J'Zaap sure does love lightning. ;)

Oh I've gone through that quest line a few times myself. Usually though what I do is spend time gong on some smaller quest once in a little while and the rest of the time I spend grinding up my Smiting and Enchanting Ability. That way your leveled up to around 28 and have some good equipment you can create. Also I tend to spread my level points out a bit so I'm decent enough with a Melee weapon. Having good magic and Melee means when confronting a Magic user all you need to do is get in close and they'll go down rather quickly.

*nod* My first run through I spread my points out too much, and ended up good in several areas but not good enough in any one. My second, I tried an unarmed build and actually finished the main quest for the first time, which was fun, but I wanted to play something a little more traditional afterward, so I'm focusing primarily on: Destruction for offense, Alteration for defense, Restoration for healing, Conjuration for offensive support, and Enchanting for primary crafting. I will of course also level Smithing and Alchemy, but Enchanting comes first, so I can get a set of clothes that grant free casting in two schools, or half-cost casting in four, depending on how I shuffle them around.

If I'm still interested in Skyrim once I've tapped out the possibilities of J'Zaap, I'll want to create a melee-focused character. Since I intend to go through both sides of the civil war storyline, I'll probably do that and the Companions line to start with on that character. Honestly, after reading up on the various players in the civil war story, it just seems like a lose-lose proposition all around. Ulfric really isn't a very nice guy to non-Nords, and I still don't know whether to believe the writings I've found about atrocities in Markarth. The Empire, on the other hand, is engaged in religious oppression of Talos worshippers, have a skewed view of what actually went on between Ulfric and High King Torygg, and is willing to kill the player character for no other reason than "Well, he/she's here and we've got the block ready, screw the list." My sense of justice simply will not allow me to seriously side with them, either. But if you take the third option and don't help either side, according to documents found in the embassy during the main storyline, you're playing right into the Thalmor's hands. They want the Empire and the Stormcloaks to fight it out so they can sweep in and take over from the weakened victor. And I really, REALLY don't like those Thalmor.
