So I'm sure some of you could already tell by the recently uploaded fanarts that I REALLY like Don't Starve :D And not just the game, but its art style as well. So much so that I just HAD to turn our characters into Don't Starve characters. We are trying to play it with our friend Maxner12 But we are doing so well, I just had to rename the game to "Let's Starve Together" :D
I tried to follow the game's art style as close as I just could, and it made a fun challenge :) And to be honest, I could set my brain to this (similar to Tim Burton's) style pretty easily. I think it's a very simple, but very characteristic style :) And I wanted to do the same with their "skills" and stats as well, so I tried to give all of them strengths and weaknesses as well.
Stella for example because of her high HP does great in fights, but the less sanity she has, the more uncontrollable she becomes. She is very short tempered, so a low sanity fits her well. Oh, and she doesn't' tolerate rain. Like, at all... Evie on the other hand has a very high sanity, but she doesn't like fighting, and has a pretty low HP. But she has a special item, a story book, and when she reads from it, she can recharge her party's sanity :) But seriously, don't bring her near any monsters. You are better off just leaving her at home to take care of the base and stuffs... And there's Maxner's character, Blase as well. Because of his appearance, some of the monsters won't bother him at all, and he does fairly well in any situation. When it's summer, I mean. Because when the winter comes, and it gets colder... Oh boy...
Anyway, we had a TON of fun playing around with our characters and the game mechanics. I still have some ideas for other characters as well, so who know, if I'll have some spare time, I might just do make more of these concepts in the future :D

Now this is to cute. I had almost forgotten Don't Starve was a thing. It makes me want to draw a character of mine in this style just for the simple joke of putting her in a game that she would immediately lay down and give up because theres no cookies in it.
