When you have a stressful day and draw angst, Alysha's story. Mostly on why Geoffrey and Ash didn't know each other properly when they were kids.
So hears the story, *ahem* instead of Alysha still being alive after Ian's death, it made more sense she died before him, because Ian felt so much pain from losing her, that whenever he saw Ash, he could only see her, so he never took Ash in with him and Geoffrey, he let Patrica take care of him. Patrica still didn't know about Ian. For a time, Ian couldn't even look Geoffrey in the eyes because he had Alysha's eyes instead of Ian's. When it came time to take the young prince and queen to Angel Island, he saw the young prince and it reminded him of Ash, and now he felt more regret in not being with Ash , so Ian decided that when he got back he was going to take Geoffrey to go see him and take him home with them and to tell Patricia about he's and Alysha's marrige. But that unfortunatley in the end it didn't happen and Geoffrey and Ash never got to really know much about each other, Patricia never knew about either Geoffrey or the marrige, all because Alysha was killed on the field by an overlander's gun while trying to help some soldiers escape.
