Jen was sleeping in her accommodation provided by Espu, sleeping as her Jenveeon self. Flair the Flareon was finally cured after the anniversary of the hospital. All the cheers she could hear towards Jen filled her with joy and boosted her mental curing factor a lot so Jen exited her that night when she was sleeping comfy on the bed.
Espu had shifted already into Jolteon from the enthusiasm as he went by the name Jolsu when Jolteon. Jolsu was an adventurer and a lot more casual wanderer to the world in order to enjoy life rather than being a mayor stuck in a town. Jolsu had gathered everyone important for Jen for a surprise celebration as he dashes to wake her up from her sleep.
Jolsu looked to the slumbering beauty in the bed and just nuzzled Jen in joy as he sent some minor shocks to her. Jolsu bowed in shame to Jen’s yelping to the abrupt awakening. ”Sorry Jen! I’m just overjoyed to see Flair back in health! I just can’t help myself…”
Jen looked towards the Jolteon who just had blurted something about Flair and felt a bit offended from the shocking. ”Who might you be? Why shock me?!” Espu feels his ears drop bit down due to Jen not realizing it, turning his head away from Jen in shame. ”I’m Espu… Sorry! I just didn’t realize you never seen my Jolsu form…”
Jen feels bad from the yelling as she goes hug Espu. ”Oh! I apologize for yelling to you, but why shock me?” Espu blushes ”Umm… I just tend to nuzzle my friends when i’m overjoyed and the shocks are extra thing happening uncontrollably...” Jen giggles a bit and nuzzles Espu’s Jolteon form ”Aww, am I that good friend to be nuzzled at?”
Espu barks determinedly and hugs Jen. ”Of course you are! Why wouldn’t you be after what you did? Also, i have a surprise for you.” Jen looks curious as Espu leads her out from the house. They walk towards Flair’s Bakery as Jen feels curious.
”What’s in the Bakery?” Jen asks from Espu and he smiles to her. ”You’ll see, in you go Jen!” Espu barks happily and Jen nods. She opens the door. and to her surprise, a birthday cake is baked there along with all her friends singing happy birthday song. Jen get’s overjoyed as she turns to look towards Espu who was still Jolsu.
”You did this?” Jen asks and Espu nods and barks. ”Yup! Happy Birthday Jen!” Espu nuzzles more carefully Jen and the rest of her friends come make a group hug as they all wish happy birthday once again. Jen can’t express her joy in words as she just hugs everyone for a while until it’s broken. Everyone goes towards the cake as Espu hands the cake shovel as he sits next to the cake.
”Here Jen.” Espu smiles and Jen grabs the shovel happily ”Thanks!”
Jen takes her piece of the cake and tries it. It’s really delicious as Jen gets few tears of joy from this moment as everyone else takes their own piece of the cake, Espu taking his piece last. The moment lasts long as Jen and the rest have joyous fun, celebrating a dear friends birthday like never before!
The day moves towards the end as Jen yawns and feels sleepy. ”I’m so tired, can you carry me Espu?” Espu nods and lowers a bit as Jen hops to his back and grabs gently from Espu’s fur. Everyone 'awws' to the moment as they bid good night to Jen, everyone going to their quest houses to enjoy their sleep too.
Espu comes to Jen’s house and notices her sleeping already. Espu smiles towards the scene and carefully opens the door with psychic. He goes in and gently lowers Jen to the bed and pulls blanket on top of her slumbering form. ”Good night birthday hero, sleep well.” Espu gives a soft nuzzle to her and leaves Jen to happy sleeps as Jen had experienced a birthday so great she would remember it for a long time…
