Scraps

A preview of what I'm working on at the moment. A snake character. This is what the sculpting stage looks like.

I have a few different workflows. In this project, I'm sculpting the forms of the character first, and then building a functional topology on top of those forms.

Fangs and other small bits are going to be separate objects, so I'm not usually sculpting them together with the main character. Going to build them separately after retopo.

The detail in this model is outstanding, and this is only a WiP! Can't wait to see what he gets up to! :)

Thank you! That's the sculpted part, basically it's like a 3d sketch.

This character is going to be worksafe, though, as I don't have time to start researching snake genitals this time.

Hehe, yeah. There's definitely going to be nsfw reptiles, dragons and snakes at some point!
