After several days of nonstop travel, Ace dragged me into the local inn to relax, and poured me a cup of green tea. He's such a good friend. I'm lucky to have someone who cares so much about me!
I barely took a few sips of the tea when I started growing red and silver feathers and dropped the cup in shock! Ace denied that he put anything in the tea but I didn't buy that for a second - I was now sporting red and silver wings and growing a beak!
The first of several clothing casualties today, my shoes quickly gave way to the large, dark talons of a Chocobo!
Finally, as my face morphs into a bright yellow beak, and red and silver feathers grow around my head and neck, Ace admits that he gave me Gysahl Green Tea...a drink normally reserved for Chocobos!
The red-and-silver feathers spread across my body, bursting through the seat of my overalls and forming a large tail!
The rest of my Chocobo feathers round out my new form as the remains of my outfit are destroyed and Ace admires the changes!
As I'm now a full Chocobo, the innkeeper demands I leave, even though I was once human. Now I wonder about Ace's motives...did he bring me here to relax or to make travelling easier for him?
