Something I don't see very often is people reimagining the Mario cast as animals. Mario, Luigi and Peach are self-explanatory; they're associated with their respective species in the games. I made Wario a skunk purely because he has a fart attack in Smash Bros, and Rosalina is a bunny partly because of the star bunnies in the Galaxy games but also because of a toy she had as a child. I thought it would be appropriate for Daisy to be a dog since she's Peach's counterpart, and Waluigi is a weasel because have you seen his build? Pauline isn't here though because I don't know what kind of animal she would be. Anyway, what do you think? Would Mario be more or less successful if the human characters weren't humans?
