A slight redesign of Alicia's orange dress.  The only update is the addition of shoulder length gloves.  Not sure if I really needed them, but I decided to add them.

Alicia first met Max when they were children.  She was a noblewoman who was chosen to be the prince's royal consort.  She tried to act humble about her fate, but deep down she knew something about this situation was wrong...

The two would eventually get married and have two children, Elias and Sally.  But in the many years they were king and queen, Alicia kept quiet on how she truly felt about her relationship with Max.

In his time as king, Max would make a lot of questionable decisions.  And whenever his queen would question him, he would brush off her concerns and expect her follow his lead... like the rest of his followers.

In this reality, there were no Overlanders.  Instead, the kingdom came under attack by robots.

Fearing the worse, Max sent his wife and son to go into hiding on Angel Island, under the protection of the current guardian.  Max, however, stayed behind in order to buy them time to escape.

That's when Julian, Max's head scientist, revealed himself.  Now calling himself Dr. Robotnik, Julian was finally showing his true colors as he had been planning to conquer the kingdom for years.

He wasn't the only traitor though.  Naugus, Max's warlock, was also in league in Robotnik.  However, their alliance was short lived as the mad scientist double-crossed the warlock as he activated a pair of Star Posts.  A portal opened up from the device, pulling both the king and warlock into the Special Zone.

Unaware of Robotnik's betrayal, Queen Alicia spent the next few years on Angel Island until the events of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.  And in that time, she began to reflect on how Max treated her and the people around him...
