Leaving for Niagara Falls by MaxDeGroot

Backing track by Karaoke All Stars and purchased on iTunes. Original song written and performed by Paul Stookey.

Stargazer leaves on his honeymoon.

-----
So ends the Wedding Arc. This particular song has been a favorite of mine since it came out in 1971. I remember that summer well, as I was doing security guard duty at the State Fair and listening to the radio (only thing to really do, as nobody came in through the gate we were guarding. It was ranked on the chart one step above "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" by Paul McCartney. Guess which song got more plays, though. Grrr... The harmonies were created by me and a fellow by the name of Joel Kaplan for a group I was in at the time. The routine "Niagara Falls, slowly I turned..." is an old vaudeville act done by many people and revamped several times.

I actually remembered it from Abbott and Costello, but it's been done by many people. It dates back to Vaudville.

lol, good to know. I'd forgotten about Bud Abbott and Lou Costelo doing that skit. The first time Dipps went into it, I almost fell off my chair laughing my self silly at hearing it again all these years later.
