In a certain faraway plateau lives the Prism Gekko, a rare species of lizard uses its chromatographic body to create brilliant displays, enticing prey for body heat while pacifying predators to keep them at bay. Their bodies project constantly fluctuating patterns, which often mimic the colors of the prey or predator to increase their hypnotic effectiveness. Nicole was lucky enough to come across three of them. They will not harm her; rather, after a few more minutes of entrancement, the prism gekkos will keep the skunk in their den as a source of body heat, keeping her fed throughout the winter.
