She breathed in easy as she laid across the cushions of her couch. Eyes closed, she let the inharmonious ambiance of the apartment complex, and from the world outside the building become her only stimulation. She raised and lowered a leg on occasion, allowing herself to get comfortable; the material she wore, polished, and glistening from both artificial, and organic light, brushed cleanly against the plushness of the cushions, and the back of the couch.
She moaned happily as she did a quick stretch with her arms overhead, smiling simply because she could in that moment. Life was pleasant, and life was bearable. Everything felt just right in that moment for her.
Opening her eyes, after she was done stretching, a moan of satisfaction escaped her. Her smile kept, and she stared up at her white ceiling. Colors of orange, red, and purple from the setting sun shined in. She'd been lounging around all day, all without a care in the world.
She didn't mind that she wasted the entire day away by simply being comfortable. She didn't mind that she could've done other things such as tidying up or perhaps playing a few of those video games she had. She didn't mind that she didn't invite anyone over. She didn't mind that no one bothered her to come to any social gatherings or events. She didn't mind at all.
She was too lost in her own world, which, was quite frequent as of late. It was a world of gloss, and one of a shining material that she wore at every possible opportunity. Early days off, and weekends alone were spent in, and around it. She wouldn't have asked for anything less. Latex was becoming a part of her life.
As time passed, shifting, and finding other different positions to perhaps get comfortable with, the evening light upon her ceiling started to fade to black. The radiance of the sun was becoming increasingly distant, the few lights she had on at the moment, were what gave light as darkness became prevalent. She didn't know how much time passed, as she lazed about, but she didn't care. She simply enjoyed the tightness of her shining attire, the smoothness of it all, and how everything felt just a little bit different through the latex. It was a whole new world for her that she was still discovering, one that she would take several steps further into in due time.
With a quiet groan, the panda shifted, seating herself upright as her heeled boots tapped, and sat against the floor. She did a little wiggling of her toes and looked around. Her stand across from her, having two cupboards of her odds and ends she used regularly, she sat up. Traipsing onto the immediate carpet, she paused. Bending over, and giving her legs a quick stretch to loosen them out. As she finished, sighing, and fluttering her eyes, she sauntered away, deeper into her apartment.
Down an immediate hallway, the panda lazily dragged her hand along the plain walls, beneath a few pictures and paintings, and beneath a shelf housing items of small importance. A light was flicked on along the way, and she veered left into an open door, flicking on a switch that turned on a light overhead within the center of the room. An empty room across from her, was closed.
Sashaying in, the panda left the door open behind her, walking by paraphernalia of all sorts related to rubber. Masks, gloves, outfits... some were scattered about, some in a trunk, while others hung silently within her closet. She had countless choices to wear, and many more to experiment with. Her bed even, once plain and rather cushioned beneath her fuzzy body, was now of rubber. It had the same give, but far from the save texture.
Along the walls, much of her rather normal stuff hadn't changed. Her dresser, still had outfits for casual wear out in the streets, or even when she went to work. Her closet as well, had jackets, sweaters, and hoodies for her to try. She was still normal, outwardly. Company rarely came to her apartment now; the fear of her interests being discovered weighed considerably upon her. She wanted peace, and she wanted to indulge herself within that peace. She wanted to dress as she saw fit within her home, and she wanted to experiment like she always wanted.
Twirling herself around as she neared her bed, positioned near the window to allow a vista of the cityscape before her, Latch closed her eyes as she spread her arms, let go, and fell back. She bounced slightly, then sank only a couple centimeters into the bed. She sighed dreamily, running her arms and fingers over the bed. Smooth to the touch. Just like she was.
She clambered back, tugging her legs in and shifting until her head met the rubbery pillows at the head of the bed. She kept her arms spread, and opened her eyes. She was shy of bumping her head, she discovered. Quickly readjusting to her comfort, she rolled her head over to a nearby poster on the wall. "Latex Fashion", it read.
White hair trailed out down the sides of the mask, empty, black lenses stared forward; a collar of latex, and metal was just beneath his muzzle. His ears as well were covered in latex, and two hoses came from the end of the mask. Likely for breathing purposes.
It was a souvenir from that Kirin's shop, something that she was given after being such a loyal customer for a few months. Every paycheck saw her over in his shop, buying something new, and something shiny. Sometimes there were toys in the mix, ones she'd experimented on herself with, and sometimes, there was just heavy duty wear such as a fully enclosed gas-mask for her, and only her. That was a surprise, and it was one that was offered at a large discount for her. How could she say no?
Shifting about on her bed, the panda let out another sigh. It was sheer bliss for her, being dressed like this, and surrounded by so much rubber. She wondered how she could take things further for herself...
She looked up at the ceiling, contemplating what she was going to do next. She already had so much shiny apparel on hand, and she was already discovering some smaller accessories, cuffs and the like, to be rather enthralling for her. "I wonder..." She mused. "I wonder about all those clubs that are in that district. Maybe-... maybe I could go to one."
"I wonder if Suule has any recommendations..."
