As Spyro was going around saving the guardians, Leonidas was following Cynder around. As Cynder was flying through Dante’s Freezer she was stopped by someone. Cynder looked behind her and noticed that it was Leonidas. “Leonidas, what are you doing here?” Cynder asked her brother. “I’m here to see you; I see Gaul made some adjustments to your figure.” Leonidas said. “Yeah, I kind of like it.” Cynder said. “Why are you doing this?” Leonidas asked. “Doing what?” Cynder asked. “Why are you steeling the powers of the Guardians?” Leonidas asked. “Oh, to get my master back.” Cynder said. “Who is your master?” Leonidas asked. “The Dark Master.” Cynder said. “Had a feeling you’d say that, but I’ll be waiting for you in Convexity.” Leonidas said. “Why?” Cynder asked. “You’ll see when you get there.” Leonidas said teleporting himself to the portal of convexity. Cynder then went on and grabbed the orb that had drained Volteer’s powers. Cynder then went to grab the orb that had drained Cyril’s power which was right before Spyro met her. Cynder then went and grabbed the orb that had drained Terrador’s power but had Terrador hot on her trail and nailed him in the face with the orb of his own power causing him to fall down. “Go Spyro fly, fly like you’ve never flown before!” Terrador yelled to Spyro. That’s when Spyro and Cynder’s eyes met and the chase through Munitions Forge began. After Spyro and Cynder came out the side of the volcano Cynder was very close to grabbing Spyro’s tail, but got cut off by Ignitus. Ignitus had Cynder’s neck in his jaws, but Cynder didn’t go down easily after about thirty seconds Ignitus then pushed Cynder down but he went down with her as they went down Spyro heard a little girl scream which came from Cynder. Spyro was looking all around but got caught by Terrador. “We’ve have to find them, help Ignitus.” Spyro said. “Spyro it’s too late.” Sparx said. “Spyro he’s right.” Terrador said. “Wait I’m right, wow that’s a first.” Sparx said a bit excited. “No, it’s not too late; Ignitus wouldn’t do this to me.” Spyro said. “Spyro, you’ll never find them in this mess, besides you still need to learn how to use that Earth element of yours, but the time for battle, will come again young warrior.” Terrador said and flew back to the Grotto. Spyro and Sparx followed Terrador. The site of this made Leonidas want to puke but he just stood there in front of the portal of Convexity waiting for Cynder.
Back at the Grotto, “It’s all my fault; I let Ignitus down, but the site of Cynder so close just, um...” Spyro said unable to find the right words. “Scared the crud out of you?” Sparx said. “Yeah, something like that.” Spyro said. “All warriors feel fear Spyro, but you are not ready to battle Cynder yet.” Terrador said.
At Cynder’s Lair, Spyro finished riding the lift up to the top of Cynder’s fortress. “Spyro…….Spyro……I have a feeling she’s baiting us, I’m getting smarter.” Sparx said. “Spyro, destroy the crystal, quickly.” Ignitus said. “Let’s get him out of here before Cynder gets back.” Spyro said and started walking towards the crystal but got cut off by Cynder. Cynder hissed and then said, “If only it were that easy little one, now it’s time I showed you how hard life can be.” Cynder then went up off her front paws and hit Spyro in the side with her head. Spyro shook it off and stood back up. “Spyro, RUN!!!” Ignitus yelled. “No, I’m done running this time I fight.” Spyro said. Cynder chuckled a bit and then said, “Bring it.”
After the first part of the fight, Cynder was laughing and then she said, “It’s so sad it must end this way.” Spyro then lunged at Cynder but bounced off the metal flooring. “Now where was I?” Cynder asked herself as she quickly grabbed the crystal and broke through her own glass window and flew to the portal where her brother was waiting for her. “Does she ever use doors?” Sparx asked.
At the Portal of Convexity, as Cynder arrived she looked to her older brother and said, “Brother, I have returned.” Leonidas walked over to Cynder and wrapped his wings around his sister and took the crystal out of Cynder’s hand. “You have done well little sister.” Leonidas said proudly. “Thank you, brother.” Cynder said. Leonidas then placed a kiss on Cynder’s cheek. “An accomplishment like this deserves a reward.” Leonidas said. “A reward really?” Cynder asked. Leonidas nodded his head in approval. “Well what’s my reward?” Cynder asked. Leonidas knew that Cynder would regret that question and shoved her off the side of the platform. “Brother what are you doing?!” Cynder asked feeling very stupid for asking that question. Leonidas looked down to Cynder and said, “What does it look like I’m doing, I’m trying to get my real sister back.” Cynder tried to climb back up onto the platform but Leonidas just shoved her back off every time. Leonidas looked out into the distance and noticed Spyro was coming and flew underneath the platform and pushed Cynder back up onto the platform.
When Spyro arrived at the Portal of Convexity, Cynder walked up to it and put the Crystal in it and said, “My master returns.” Spyro came up behind Cynder and said, “We’re too late.” Cynder turned around and noticed Spyro, “Persistent little fella aren’t you, this is where it really ends.” Cynder said. “Bring it.” Spyro said. “No mercy this time.” Cynder said. “I can’t watch this.” Sparx said.
After the battle, Cynder’s evil form got locked inside her soul and she was changed back into her normal form, “She is just like me.” Spyro said and the portal started sucking in everything around it. “We have to get out of here now.” Sparx said. Even though, Leonidas had already teleported himself out of Convexity. “I can’t leave her behind; I’ve got to save her.” Spyro said. “What, save the beast that’s been trying to kill us?!” Sparx exclaimed. “That wasn’t her fault; she was being used by the Dark Master.” Spyro said looking back at Cynder. Spyro then let loose of his grip and flew back into the portal grabbed Cynder and quickly got out of there. “Now we can go.” Spyro said with Sparx following him.
After coming out of the Convexity realm, “Feeling any better Spyro?” Ignitus asked. “Not really Ignitus, that battle drained every last bit of my strength, I can hardly lift my head.” Spyro said. “Yes, it will take some time for your powers to return, but they will in time, they will in time, Cynder, ever since I failed the night of the raid, I’ve dreamed of this day.” Ignitus said. “It wasn’t just you Ignitus, we all failed.” Volteer said. “Be that as it may, we’re all together again, thanks to Spyro, well done, young Dragon.” Ignitus said to Spyro. “Thanks, Ignitus, but we don’t know what’s happened to the Dark Master.” Spyro said. “There’ll be time to talk about the Dark Master later Spyro, now we should be great-full and celebrate for your success.” Terrador said. Leonidas then appeared on the balcony and called Cynder quietly called Cynder over to him. Cynder then left the room quietly and ran over to her brother and gave him a big hug. Leonidas hugged Cynder back n placed a kiss on her cheek.
