Here are two things I'm awful at drawing in one picture, ha ha. I am not very adept at drawing guitars of any sort (this one is a bass to be specific), and if musculature was a class, I would get an F every day. I've been working on this last auction commission sketch for a while, because muscles were the most challenging thing on that list I had. After studying countless drawings, I finally just looked up a chart of muscles on a human, drew them all, then moved them around through a series of sketching and resketchings until they were in the pose I needed. Complex... but it got the job done nicely. I feel like I made some great progress here.

Inked and coloured version will be done quite soon.

I'm ever so grateful to see this picture! For those of you who haven't met Aleksandr before, I just posted my first story about him, called "The Subject Under Discussion" (located here: https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=221405). (I thought I'd used the correct HTML code to imbed the title, but it didn't come through... so there's the raw URL.)

Although he doesn't play guitar or bass in this particular story, it's very much part of his background. And if I may say so, dear Spix, you've created an amazing portrait of the artist (so to speak). He's lovely! I can scarcely wait for the color! Thank you so very much!

Oh, and Spix: You didn't get his name wrong, I did. I went back to change from "Aleksandir" to "Aleksandr," which appears to be the closer transliteration of the name. ^___^
