And here we have my first Sauroid to sport some artificial limbs. I really do need to get around and draw him again.
It was a beautiful day on New Terra. The sun was shining and Jinchi stretched as he walked out onto his deck and looked out over the big wide ocean that lay before him. He'd only bothered to get half dressed this morning. He still wore his trainers from the night before. They were pretty soggy as usual. They always were in the morning. Jinchi sighed looking down at them. His continence had never been perfect. It had become the problem it was though after a run in with an angry young Rex. Jinchi had been studying a strange rock out cropping. It looked like it had been carved out. It was ancient. Jinchi hadn't been paying attention. It came up and grabbed him by the leg, dropped him and then got him by the arm. When he fell that time he landed on a sharp rock just big enough to put out his eye. Luckily the rest of the team heard his screams. They put the Rex down and get Jinchi to a doctor. His limbs couldn't be saved but they were replaced easily enough. Even his eye was replaced with a prosthetic eye. Though Jinchi took to wearing the cloth over it. The fibers are fine enough for his eye to see through it. Now Jinchi is much more careful when he does field research. Though he now usually does his work from the safety of a lab or study. Which is where he'll likely head off to after changing into a fresh Pull-Ups and finishes getting dressed for the day.
