Character Description
Oscar Adamante is a 5'4" android living in the Philippines in 2030. He is the founder of a tech company that specializes in technology that makes use of magic energy.
Personality
Oscar is a very emphatic person who would put others first than himself, although he's no pushover. He is weighed down by his morality sometimes, and as such, he feels burdened by his position to make decisions that aren't morally ideal to him.
Likes/Dislikes
He enjoys listening to classical music and playing it himself. He enjoys upper-class gatherings as well if he knows the attendees' brains are as good as their wealth.
He doesn't like people who undermine him for being a robot. He is evasive around religion and politics (although it's unavoidable for him). He's not one to tolerate mediocrity and half-assery.
Background/History
Oscar Adamante used to be Devant Écran until 2025, when he had to flee the USA in fear of being persecuted for inciting rebellion and for possessing research on soul transferring, which would allow any living soul to reside in a robotic body, cheating death (from biological degradation). After landing in the Philippines, he changed his physical appearance and name before starting his own company with the wealth he received after selling the secret to another company.
World/Setting
2030s Philippines: not much has changed, except there's more Chinese influence? Local corruption is still rampant, corporations still have a tight hold on the country's governance, and people are still incredibly religious and conservative.
Body
His face is an LED screen, and his hair is synthetic and luminescent (something like fiber optic cables). His skin and flesh are made out of silicon while he has a metallic frame underneath it. His body parts are segmented by their joints. His body is mostly humanoid except for the lack of nipples, belly button, and toes.
Clothing
His usual outfit is a long-sleeved, button shirt, a pair of dress pants, and leather shoes. In formal occasions and public appearances, he wears a full-on business suit.
