I ended up rushing this because I didn't have much time the day I was doing it, but the first thing that came to my mind at the time when I thought of snow, was the steps of Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, formerly known as Anor Londo. I have my criticisms of Dark Souls 3, but it is undeniably a beautiful looking game.
