Character Sheet for Zane Grimm
Character Description
Zane is the MC of Grimm Tales. A young man just starting out at the local Mage's Guild, Zane has had high marks in his studies throughout school. As a wielder of God Soul Magic, Zane has access to the powers of Susanoo, allowing him to manipulate water and lightning to devastating effect. As a child to Fae parents, Zane's magic power is especially high, and he has trained for years in both magic fundamentals and combat, making him a dangerous enemy, and a powerful ally.
Personality
Loyal to his friends almost to a fault, Zane does not react well to threats made against those important to him. Snarky and sarcastic almost on reflex, Zane doesn't respect authority figures just because of their position - if you want his respect, you've got to show you deserve it. To his friends, he's a snarky, geeky guy who refuses to stop making pop culture references. But don't let his friendly nature fool you - you do not want to be on the receiving end of his anger. When the nice guys snap, bodies tend to fall.
World/Setting
Zane possess an unusually large amount of magic power, which has only grown as he got older. Thanks to years of training, though certainly not a master, he is well versed in a variety of magics. In battle, he tends to combine water, lightning, and wind magic for various ends. While he can do precision magic, where he really shines is in larger, more destructive combat spells.
Body
Zane has brown eyes and short, messy brown hair that he gave up trying to control years ago, and a strong swimmer's build
Clothing
Zane tends to have some shade of blue, black, or purple in just about every outfit he wears. He tends towards clothes that are comfortable and functional, and doesn't dress up unless he absolutely has to.
Accessories
Zane wears a blue sea-glass pendant that was a gift from his best friend Jason for his 16th birthday, and never takes it off.
