It was the proudest moment of his young life when Flint was anointed with his own markings, signaling him of being one of his tribe's warriors. Normally at the age of 12 was too young for a member to be marked but Flint was a special case. For years he has battled and survived a rare heart condition that he was born with, not expected to live beyond his early childhood. After multiple surgeries through out the years and his desire to survive, Flint defied the odds showing himself to be a warrior in his own right. From the age of 11 his condition has been under control, letting him to live a normal life and as a celebration of one year of his good health, his tribe wanted him to be recognized for the warrior he truly was. The elders also knowing that his dream was to become a Contract Hunter, thought it would be a good idea for him to start learning skills that would help him on his quest from the tribes own warriors and hunters, giving him the markings would allow him to be accepted into their tutelage. In two short years, under the guidance of his peers, Flint started to become a master tracker and an agile warrior, learning to become very efficient in pole arms and a master with a bow. During the week after school, he would train and hunt with his tribe's warriors while on the weekends, he would get together with his two friends from the city, who also shared his dream, to help them with the skills necessary to achieve it. Things were looking up for Flint, he finally felt like he wasn't a burden on his tribe anymore and with his two friends by his side, there was nothing that they couldn't accomplish. After all those years of pain and suffering, things were finally on the right track.....
