Dr. Zaripman once wrote of the legendary Pact Hound. It has many names: Førerhunden, Sattmalahundur, Otokuna inu, Hetong Gou, but the names all translate roughly to the same thing: The Dog who Deals.
There are depictions of this cyan canine throughout history. Some date back as old as pictographical records. Tales depicting a dog offering those with potential to prove themselves, for a price. He is honorable, but beware of the deals you make. If you lack the skill or acumen to hold up your end of the bargain, you may find your identity no longer your own.
Many challenge the validity of Dr. Zaripman's claims. The lack of evidence, the unreliable witness testimony. A few of his colleagues have accused the cryptozoologist of delusions. that any record of such a character must have existed within the last few years, rather than few thousand.
but how could he be wrong? He has these old cryptograms. He's been chasing evidence of the pact hound all his life... right?

Jackknife gave me this as a gift, and I couldn't help but come up with a story to justify this depiction of Darkwitt.
