I posted a black and white version of this on July 4th last year.
It gained over 60 favorites, until it was removed via flagging campaign nearly three months ago.
Today, I have brought it back with a vengeance. in color and with a background.
Right when those petty bastards thought they were rid of this too.

So yes, this was my way of saying "screw you" to the SOJ purists that think Sonic should not be involved with an American holiday because (and this was an actual comment) Sonic team only gets their influences from Japanese culture.
Yet they all ignore the fact that Sonic was influenced by nothing Japanese.
But hey, don't take my word for it. take it from the guy who developed his original design.
Lastly, don't think that Oshima here was the only one who partook in Sonic's creation.
Lets not forget that People in Sega of America, like Madiline Shroder (The mother of Sonic), played a big role in shaping Sonic's personality and image.
The fact modern fans don't talk about this aspect of Sonic's creation proves that the fandom is under influence of a gate keeping establishment.
If posting this again angers certain fans again (gee, I wonder which ones) then I say good. Let them be mad.
Sonic was MADE to celebrate our Independence Day. Deal with it.
