I could ramble about how much I love Bluey, but I feel like anything I could say has already been said <3!

Chili and Bandit are the best parents on tv, good goddess.. you can 100% feel that this show was written by actual parental experiences, and it makes it all that much more charming and soulful!
It's just a perfect image of kids being kids, y'know? The show doesn't talk down to the audience, and that's a real feather in its cap! It's enjoyable by all ages and even deals with some things alot of kids shows shy away from, or that you don't see all that often, such as death, ADHD, overcoming language barriers, parental struggle and being rough with your kids, but what the show shines hardest in is -imagination-.
The creator and the staff lean heavily into imagination and improv play with it. He's even mentioned his upsetness with how when one of his daughters started school, play was taken away from her in favor of academics, which lead him to research the importance of play for child development, and how that changed the course of the show.
Imagine having a dad create a cartoon that's a literal loveletter to your relationship, playtime, and childhood wonder <3!
I love so many episodes it pains me to pick favorites, but--
Escape, Camping, Dance Mode, Pirates, Mount Mumandad crack my top 6, but MAN..
I -STILL- get chills at the end of Sleepytime. That episode legitimately moves me, and it's so simple and effective! Feels like it belongs in theaters. It's an easy Emmy win for the sure.
Season 1 was good, but Season 2 just turned everything up twofold! The writing, the jokes, the symbolism and subtleties, the animation, they REALLY found their footing and doubled down on it! AND WE'RE ONLY HALF-WAY THROUGH IT!
This show is gonna survive me the rest of 2020

Watched an episode on Youtube which had: "Keepy Uppy," "Magic Xylophone," and "Shadowland." It's cute, and the last two had decent messages (the importance of sharing, and the importance of rules in games). Not something I could watch very much on my own, but I wouldn't object to a child watching it.
Also, that is one dedicated Dad. I don't think I could pretend to be frozen while the kids drew on my face, or take being there for however long with the hose blasting in my face.
