In summer 2011, I had the idea of a chipettes-version of "Hello".
- As I realized later on, there is already a remix-version on the "Chipwrecked"-soundtrack.
My version was kind of a difficult, but interesting thing to do:
I made several tracks of the song:
one track for bass, drums,... ,
one track for voice (vocals),
one track for trebles (h-ihats, "s"-sounds.
In order to have the finished song sound sound harmonic, I didn't pitch up the entire song, but tuned the vocals UP for 8 semitones and pitched
DOWN the bass for 4 semitones
(one octave consists of 12 semitones, so the "difference" between vocals- ond bass-track is exactly 12 semitones, that is ONE OCTAVE, making the song sound harmonic,again.)
