Hey, here's a new song (inspired by Touhou again)! This is what would be the "second phase" theme for my sona Cal if I made a bullet hell boss battle for him.
I looked to my past songs I've made to make this almost like a culmination of everything, to give it some sort of finality in the story that I want to tell in this story (that I still haven't gotten around to creating). I wanted to evoke that grand, "no more joking around" vibe, given that this is supposed to be the second phase of the final boss battle. In some parts, I've made the piano play solo to signify the emotion in the music with the brass to show the power this boss has. I didn't add drums but instead relied on the piano to provide the bassline and percussion for the entire piece.
