It was the night before christmas not a creature was stirring not even a.....Bloo stop trying to take one of santa's cookies!!
Gear shouted to the little roo trying to reach up to the table above with the plate of cookies! The roo stumbled back when he heard the voice of his older brother.
"How could you say I was doing that! I would never! They are santa's!....but its not my fault you made them oatmeal raisin!...my favorite..." The roo said looking back to his brother with his big cub eyes.
"You better save that for someone who isn't tricked by it! Because your notting getting a cookie! Maybe tommorrow if santa doesn't eat them all" Said the husky as he flipped the pages in the book before he added "Now come over here Bloo and lets read this story" He said with a smile as the little cub crossed his arms and walked over falling on his padded butt with a crinkle.
"You like to tease me to much Big Bro!" Bloo said before Gear smiled and replied "Its because I love you and you know that" he giggled some as the roo puffed out his chest and lifted his nose. Gear n the other hand began to twirl a candy cane as he read the book to his lil bro. Bloo was puffy some but then got into the story as he listened with his cute little smile on his muzzle.
The Book concluded and Gear closed the book looking down at the small roo as he was slowly nodding off as well as leaning to each side before waking to straighten up. Gear smiled and got up before clearing his throat some which made the roo below jump alittle before looking up to his brother.
"I think its time for bed Bloo what do you think?" he asked as Bloo rubbed his eyes and shook his head before replying "Nu uh...I'm a big boy and I can stay up longer...besides I don't want to go to bed I want to see Santa" Bloo said as Gear sighed some and then flicked one of his ears and smiled.
"Oh but you know...santa won't come if your not asleep! Then that means no presents!" As he spoke those words the joey shot up ran over and grabbed his santa sleeping hat and pulled it on saluting his big brother before saying "I am ready for sleep!" The two giggled some before Gear reach down and scooped up the roo into his arm. Bloo cuddled into Gear's arms and chest as he yawned some before Gear began to walk upstairs snapping his fingers some as the lights went off.
The husky walked up the stairs and then used his foot to push open the door to his room before he closed it after walking in. Bloo looked over to the bed and sighed some and this caught Gear's ear.
"Hmm? Don't be sad Bloo you'll be getting presents tommorrow and we'll have lots of fun I promise!" He said as Bloo looked up to him and smiled some "Well I guess your right...I'll believe you Big Bro!" he smiled with a small giggle before Gear lifted a candy can for the roo which was taken and hugged somewhat with a smile. Gear placed Bloo down on the bed before getting in himself and pulling up the blanket over the two of them.
The joey stretched out and smiled lovingly as he cuddled up close to his big bro just as the husky wrap his arm and paw around his lil bro. The to sighed and settled down for bed. But Bloo opened his eyes some and loked up to his bro and snuggled some. Gear opened and eye and looked down to the cute roo.
"Gear...big bro...I love you and Merry Christmas" Bloo said before snuggling close as Gear smiled and replied "I love you to Lil bro...Merry Christmas...and goodnight my sweet sweet brother" Gear smiled once more as the two fell asleep and as they did snow began to fall behind them in the window. So it would seem that they would be having a white Christmas but even better they would be able to spend it together as the brothers they were.
