I recently replayed Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and I had a somewhat... peculiar realization. For those who aren't familiar, within the game you cycle through a set pattern of Yoshi colorations as you progress, meaning that you'll be using the same colors of Yoshi for each world's two boss fights. (yellow and dark blue respectively) This is with one exception though, with the final boss being given to the green Yoshi, I suppose to be more iconic. This I already knew and I've always felt that dark blue Yoshi got more the a little stiffed but what I never really thought to consider was the last place we see this Yoshi before it is promptly never seen again.

The last boss fight that the dark blue Yoshi fights is against Raphael the Raven; on the moon! Afterwards this Yoshi never reappears which begs the question "What happened?" is this poor blue schmoe just stuck on the moon waiting for someone to get them? Beating cheated out of an extra level is one thing but being stranded a few light years from earth is another! I think dark blue Yoshi deserves some much needed justice... or at least something to hep pass the time?
