Background: Donovan Renard is the latest in a long ancestry that's descended from the Teumessian Fox of Greek myth. After Zeus turned the Teumessian Fox and Hound of Lapleas into statues and cast them to the stars, a fragment of the Teumessian Fox's statue fell down to Earth, and with it her descendants are able to wield her power regardless of how many generations separated from her they may be. Originally passed down from mother to daughter members of this bloodline have used their power for good, and evil. Donovan's mother refused the amulet from her mother, the former Silver Fox, due to resentment towards her mother playing superhero instead of being more of a mother figure, and so the amulet was passed down to Donovan instead, the first male in the bloodline to receive the Teumessian Fox's power.
Notes:
- If Red Fox doesn't hold back, and goes full strength mode, her punches can hit with a force capable of reducing an area the size of New York City to a smoldering crater.
- Just like the Teumessian Fox, all those that wield her power are fated to never be captured. Ropes won't tie, cuffs won't lock, cages won't close, ect.
- The transformation between forms remembers what outfit (if any) was worn by the previous form prior to transformation and restores said outfit upon reverting to that form.
- Donovan needs the Foxstone Amulet to transform into Red Fox, however Red Fox can transform back into Donovan freely and at will.
- Red Fox's heightened senses are a double edged sword. While she can sense things outside of the average human's range, it is also fairly easy to overwhelm her senses. Concentrated amounts of strong scents like perfumes for example, to say nothing of using a dog whistle close to her.
So this is just my superhero OC. Felt Red deserved a proper character sheet for when/if I do anything with her.
