A gentle voice graced the woods near the city of Athens, humming a gentle melody from her homeland. Phaidra of Alexandria had always wanted to visit this region, a centre of science, philosophy and culture, after reading so much in the famed Alexandria libraries and all the wonderful stories her mother told her as a kid. She was also very interesting in seeing the local flora, regardless of how much she’s read about it. Despite of how withdrawn the young librarian was, she really wanted to explore the forests, explaining that it would be a quiet and peaceful day out, regardless of her traveling companion’s protests. She should’ve heeded the Athenian’s warnings about hubris…
“Ah! Wh- who goes there!” Phaidra called out in shock when she heard a twig snap behind her. The Alexandrian kitten looked up from the flower that had caught her attention. “Hmmm… perhaps it was some small animal… I’d love to find them!” Daintily she walked deeper into the woods, not one animal disturbed by her graceful steps. She had no clue a much stronger, much quieter huntress was approaching her, not until the massive hand clamped over her face. “Ha-hmmmmph!?” Phaidra yelled up as she was pulled up by a woman far larger than her. “Nnnmph!” Demetria, the champion of her tribe, held the petite kitten close to her massive bust. “My, my, what do we have here.” She purred as she bound her captive’s hands with the ropes she had brought with her, clearly expecting to catch someone out in the woods. “I’m sorry! M-my name is Phaidra, I’m just a li-librarian! Please, I was just studying the plants, I meant no harm!” The young cat stammered, being lashed to a nearby tree by the huntress. “Then I, Demetria, will look after you during your stay here, dear Phaidra~ In fact, you can help me with my archery practice and hold the target for me~” The stronger woman chuckled, pulling out a large rag from her supplies that she stuffed into her prisoner’s mouth before the latter could question the impossibility of holding anything when tied up as tightly as she was. “B-but ho-ohmnph!? Nnnmmph!” Phaidra whimpered as her gag was secured with a second cloth tied over her veil. “Plmmph lmmh gmmph…”
Demetria plucked an apple from another tree and gently placed it on top of Phaidra’s head. “Now hold still, dear~” She gave a flirty wink before stepping back and drawing an arrow on her bow. “Nmmmph! Plmmmph!” Phaidra begged and pleaded, panicking as it seemed the huntress’ aim was wavering and could easily shoot her. The warrior woman knew better of course: She was merely toying with her prey to elicit more of those cute muffled yelps out of her. “Perhaps I am a bit mean to her.” She thought to herself as she watched her captive squirm. “I shall make it up by extending her the full hospitality of my village once we’re done here~”
