I've always imagined Waffle going through a lot of inner and mental struggles in his lifetime. I mean, he started off as a rather sweet and innocent kid, then later got corrupted with the evils of life and his own natural instinct to survive. And then years later have a more stable lifestyle with people who legit care about him, which I'm sure was weird for him. I can only imagine how hard it was for him to transition between lifestyles and them being rather drastic changes too.

I feel like maybe at first when he starts living with Xever and making new friends that he goes through phases where his "inner darkness" is trying to pull him back to his old lifestyle. Like, "Why do you want to have friends? Why would you want this kind of lifestyle? You can't really do what you want anymore. Wasn't killing innocent people fun? Why don't we go back to doing that? Will you give in to me?"

Granted Waffle would never want to go back to that kind of life again, but I'm sure it crossed his mind in the beginning.

I think this turned out pretty good. I'm not great with profile shots and its been a super hot minute since I tried any kind of mirror shot, but I like the results. Its weird to see Waffle with a little scruff on his face, mostly because I never draw him that way, but during his late teen/young adult life he probably looked like that a lot. I mean, when's he gonna have time to shave? lol

Also, I deliberately didn't do any shading so that the figures stuck out more.
