Well, I did a fanart about Fleet Wood Mac a few years ago [, talking about my history with music and art and about the Rumours album, which was extremely important in my life.
This one was also important, especially for my artist career.
The album in question is Lorde's Pure Heroine, but since the cover is just the name of the album on a black background ... it wouldn't be fun, so I made the cover of the EP The Love Club that came out a few months earlier.
Okay, so... the year is late 2013 I was a teenager tiger who was starting in this 'art' thing, drawing some shitty pieces. I also worked in a department store to save money to buy a new computer and a tablet so I could make digital drawings, I had just started my relationship with Zeta and I was a senior in high school ... things were... HARD, but I had my friends, my boyfriend, and my little iPod
So one day I was on the bus coming home, listening to the radio and the song Royals starts playing, it was unlike anything at the time. So, when I got home, I google the singer and I was fascinated by her songs.
The songs on the album packed my last moments in high school. My friends and I took an oath of eternal friendship to the sound of Tams. The freaking 'World Alone' is the music that best describes my life and my love for Zeta And basically all works I did at the beginning of my career was done listening to this album, there are even some personal arts based on those songs ... They brought me inspiration, and persistence to keep following the path I wanted Even my bio on twitter has a quote from World Alone that I never changed, its there for the last 8 years
Lorde gave me a new perspective about the world, a new taste for different music and I only regret that I couldn't go to her show at lollapalooza 2014 but i got to watch it on TV at least
