Since there are a few new characters in the last pages of my comic, it's time to get to know them a bit better!
First is my lanky, long yet adorable dobbie girl, Ace.
"Ace the Doberman is yet another young Evo born within the post-Year Zero generation. While technically she was born a few weeks before, she was too small for her to have any memories of Canis Major prior the invasion.
Ace is a very quiet Evo. She is almost always focused on learning about space and also their technology. She will always be caught reading archives, or just observing a live feed from space.
She was found lost during the invasion by an older Evo known as Vinnie. They almost didn't make it but thankfully the attack ended before it was too late. Her now adoptive parent made a new life together with his best friend and mate Lucas, who also had adopted an orphan pup named Anubis. They have lived together ever since as a very warm and loving family.
As a few other young post-Year Zero Evos, Ace volunteered to help test and develop Project D.E. She proved to be an exceptional pilot, together with her best friend Anubis."
Ace is a bit different than your normal doberman Evo, in which her fur has a very light coloration, making her almost gray-ish instead of black (a variation that does exist in real life!). Her amber eyes are also not common for her type. Originally (almost two decades ago)when I created her, she was not only darker, but had pointy ears and a docked tail. It wasn't long before I realized this was nonsense...
