Find a hidden book in your house that is only able to be held if a secret compartment is opened? Why not grab the book and read it? Nothing could possibly happen, right? FiM characters have been so incompetent thus far so naturally Rarity and Spike view this book and find that it's not something they should've ever opened. A little late for that isn't it?
