Plus, many characters over the years have also had their hands develop from four-fingered hands to five-fingered ones. A good example is Sonic the Hedgehog, from DiC's Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog to Jetix's Sonic X, and you'll see what I mean.
Once again, artists can have the head of their choice, plus tail and feet (hands maybe altered should model have hooves for hands as well as feet) and design their own nightdress.
