I think I may have mention Jackie before on DA but I'll tell you about her anyway. She is a Chihuahua Jack Russell mix that originally belonged to my niece. She got her in early 2011 when she was a puppy and she was named in honor of her Jack Russell mother. But a few years ago my niece moved out of her mom's house and to a place that doesn't allow dogs so poor little Jackie was left behind. She lived with my oldest sister which is my niece's mom, her husband and her youngest son to make the long story short her husband and son straight up neglected her and my sister was the only one that feeds her and cleans up after her. A few days after Precious passed my sister and my niece asked me to take her in, I was unsure at first but then I realized I would be able to save her life so I said yes. They would take care of the vet bills while I take care of her, feed her, walk her and give the love she needs for the rest of her life. Yeah I had her for over a month and the reason I didn't tell you guys right away is really just in case anything happens to her and I would be all heart broken all over again. And while Jackie would never replace Precious in my heart and no other dog ever will, she is making things just a little bit easier for me.
