Looks like this young man caught more than he was expecting. This is a bit of an older sketch now. I drew it in my sketchbook while I was at a place doing an employment course thing (I have ADHD and drawing helps me focus). It took me a hot minute to actually get the colouring to work XD But since I was on a roll and a mermaid kick lately I did some experimenting and managed to fix some things that were bugging me, like her tail and the ocean. I'm real happy with how everything turned out finally!
Here are some alts of the mermaids skin tone, cus I couldn't decide haha https://sta.sh/216r3ompwvzs The values (grayscale tones) looked the nicest with the lightest skin colour, but I really liked how she looked with darker skin, so I found a middle ground compromise of sorts X3 As best I could anyway.
