No matter what you do and how much you do; no matter how good you get at your craft and composing yourself as a person; no matter how large thy numbers increase around you; and no matter how much of an effort you make to be seen as meritable and worth other's time...
For those you seek confirmation and expressions of appreciation from; for those who you see as "the greats" and miles above you than you could ever conceive; for those particular people who stick to their guns in believing you're not a person worth anyone's time, nor your artworks and compositions by extension despite how unfair of a judgement this is to assess... it's never enough.

Maybe, it is... but they don't want to give you that reprieve. Because we're not "cool enough".

...It's not worth it. This needless concern that ultimately holds no importance -- at worst, blurring judgement and self-worth... and for what? ...why care about them before you?"
