I keep forgetting about this site... *hides face in shame* To help correct for this, here's some cuteness for everyone to enjoy!
This simple sprite test is something to ease myself back into the saddle of small animations, and hopefully something more than just GIFs, as I've heard that WebP also allows for animations, and better! No more limited color pallets, and a lot smoother lines as well !
What said, here's a cute orange mushroom monster from MapleStory; something I've been indulging nostalgia as of late. My aim is to make a small [gif animation presently and ultimately a WebP animation] of my rat characters as maplestory adventurers, again for that nostalgia feeling!
This little bugger is my favorite of the early lower level monsters you the player face off against, as such I chose this as my test piece.
Right now Mushy just smiles at you, but later I'd like to have it jump around, just like in game.
