These are 2 designes for Zaiks and Nieri McKraven as Pokémon for a little sideproject.

I tried to aim for a original look as possible. Or ar least realistic. Therefor the designs of Zaiks and Nieri are no official designs from Nintendo and need further explenation.

Zaiks:
He has been a farmer. He had a family with wife and daughter. But during one night, group Magma needed to hide from the law and invaded his farm. He tried to defend his family but they died and the farm burned down. He also barely survived it. But with some fire-markings remaining and remembering him to his lost. Now he searches for revenge and tried to destroy team Magma.

So his design is a regular sandslash who suffered in a fire and his skin turned black on certain spots.

Nieri:
She is the assistant of a famous Ninetails, who is a torunament champion of beauty and eleganc. A star. And as such, Ninetails only surrounds herself with shinys. Thou even they fanish in Ninetails fame!
Nieri is an orphange and her assistant. She get's more treated as a personal slave and will later on join Zaiks on his quest for certain reasons.

Her design is based on a shiny version, with some extra dyed hair. She is the assistant of a star and needs to look better than usual shinys. Still getting ignored next to Ninetails ;)

The project:
so this project won't be a comic. More a series of single pictures showing certain stages of the story behin this. I mean I would love to do a Pokemon comic, but next to botgg, which has storywhise barely started.. Dunno..

About the enviroment of this.
The world I settle this would be most connected to Mystery Dungeons. So pokes can talk and there doesn't exist humans. It is a modern society with big citys, like the anime. Of course there will be rassicm and a lot of stereotypes. For example grass types, only beeing stupid farmers, or fire types being connected to powerfull positions. In crime or in law. While groundtypes are also connected to farming but also workers and stuff. In this situation would team Magma be a fire type, Yakuza like group.

Who knows how much I will bring this story to use
