It just sucks that "Thousands of police officers do good job every day" does not get the clicks and viewership of sensationalist crap like "One or Two cops shoot a guy that may not have been committing a crime (but usually actually was)."

If there was anything I could say to make him feel better I would say it. Like the majority of people who do not like the police don't even like themselves. Or that the smallest change always makes the biggest differences. Just anything to give this person a little bit of joy.
