Well, this is my take on how Fighters Pass Vol. 1 should've been in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the Game Awards 2018, we got Joker from Persona 5. In E3 2019, we got the Dragon Quest Hero and the bear and bird duo, Banjo & Kazooie from the series of the same name. In the September 4th Nintendo Direct, we have been given Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters franchises. In January 16th, 2020...we got none other than the main protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Byleth. In my opinion, Byleth is inferior to Ultimate since he/she's the 8th Fire Emblem character, and I didn't want another FE character. A 5th third-party character would've been a blast. But no. We were given this filthy scum of a multi-weapon user from an inferior franchise. Speaking of multi-weapon users, to be honest, Dante would've made it to Ultimate. He is a WAY better choice than Byleth. Nintendo should've seen this coming, they knew the hatred towards Byleth was coming to them. I hope they don't repeat this mistake in Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
P.S. An ARMS character is coming in June. We don't know who, though.
