Dislikes: authority, clans/family, open water, dealbreakers

Hates:anyone who hurts the innocent
Background/History

Growing up as a slum orphan through and through and on his own since before age 3, Trout decided if life was going to be tough he'd just be tough right back. His size quickly gave him advantage over his peers, and he decided to ride that as far as it would get him. He got his nickname from an unfortunate incident at the docks where it was discovered he could swim about as well as a barrel full of rocks. He has since overcome the skill deficiency, but not the name nor a wary aversion to open water.

Plying his trade mainly in the Dock Ward, Field Ward, and the Downshadow, Trout bounced between performing in underground arenas and pit fights where he's earned some notoriety, and being hired muscle for whoever needs a wall of mean looking scales. His personal sense of honor has kept him from going full over into criminal enterprise, and also caused quite a bit of recent trouble when his refusal to cross certain lines was poorly received by an employer. To avoid having to watch his back 24/7, Trout is now looking for a new line of work. As an adventurer he will default to his fists or whatever sturdy looking objects are close at hand (because it's funny), but may resort to a Maul or other actual purpose-built weapons if no other option is viable.

Clanless and all but entirely ignorant of dragonborn culture, Trout's behavior and even appearance would be considered appalling to most dragonborn. He dresses flashy, talks big, parties hard, and spends freely (when he has coin). Trout is a blunt weapon in every imaginable way, but with that bluntness comes a certain rough honesty and sense of right, which may or may not be in line with what is the law.
Relatives/Family
Abandoned and/or orphaned before his third birthday, Trout has nobody he'd consider family.
World/Setting
Waterdeep:Dragon Heist
Body
7' tall. Big but almost lanky. Copper-pattern head and frills, but a rusty brown color overall. He has chopped his brow-horns, as they lost him a money-fight once due to leverage. Has the sort of scars you'd expect from someone who hits/is hit for a living. Has a tail.
Clothing
Has a well-fitted suit of gold/silver chainmail, worn over a crimson gambeson/under an open-front surcoat.
Accessories
Maul, dagger, smokes, travel-booze, thieves' tools, scarves and bandanas, cheap jewelry
