Background/History
Yue was born in a wealthy human family. She was betrothed to a wealthy young man; that young man was abusive, spiteful and hated music.
One day, Tso Lan heard a beautiful song being sung somewhere. In his human disguise, he discovered a private garden and Yue was there, singing. Enamored by her beautiful voice, Tso Lan made his acquaintance with the young woman. They became instant friends. As time passed, Yue and Tso Lan have come to realize that they were falling in love. Yue also knew that she did not love her betrothed and he did not love her; he only wanted to marry her for status. Tso Lan was aware of it, as well. So he decided to make a magic potion that would transform Yue into a moon demoness. Upon completing the potion, he and Yue met in the garden where they met. Tso Lan revealed his true form to Yue. Yue was surprised, but not frightened. She willingly agreed to drink the potion and become Tso Lan's wife. Shortly afterwards, they had their wedding. And many months later, they had become parents to a beautiful baby girl. She had proven to be a loving wife to Tso Lan and a wonderful mother to Lunette.
One day, when Lunette was 10, a group of humans captured Yue and performed an exorcism spell to turn her back into a human. Tso Lan and Lunette thought the spell killed her. But little did they know that the spell put her in a 10 year coma. After waking from her coma, she realized that she had lost her memory of everything, except for her name. For 3 years, she lived in a home with several other women.
Then one day, Tso Lan saw her and recognized her. Yue faintly recalled she had a husband, but she couldn't remember his name. When Tso Lan gave her a loving touch, as he always gave her, she regained her memory. Upon seeing how Lunette has grown, Yue was overjoyed to see that her daughter is OK. And then the loving embrace from both her husband and daughter had transformed her back into a moon demoness.
Now she lives on the moon with her husband; she keeps in touch with the rest of the family, including her daughter.
