It promises to be very interesting! This Fennec King reminds me of King Theoden, I don't know why :D The first association was this.

thank you! I really hope it will stay interesting too! :D
hmmm... now when you say that, i definitely see it! Didn't actually think about that, but i think i might've been subconsciously inspired by Theoden... feck... x'3

Yep. His design looks quite similar ;)

they certainly do, and his name is also similar: Matheo (is revealed later lol)
... although i was consciously inspired by Minas Tirith when creating the fennec capital so LOTR seem to permeate this comic so far... dammit XD

Well shiet :'D The main opponents should now be inspired by orcs and uruk-hai's (armor, weapons etc)

Mhhh I have to disagree with Wasyl here, I think the Fennec King looks closer to mirror Jarl Baalgruf the Greater from Skyrim.
I can draw a few similarities between the two. They are both rather cautious men who want to keep their Citizenry safe it seems.

hmmm... i'm one of the few who's never really played Skyrim (in 2020?? Shocking i know!) so i don't really know who that is unfortunately. But that does sum him up! To go back to the Theoden theory: he is definitely a calmer, less emotionally driven man. But their similarities definitely lay more in their appearances, Baalgruf certainly does sound like they're more similar personality wise x3

Baalgruf himself is the ruler of one of several Principalities that make up the Region called Skyrim.
As for Appearence, I´d say Baalgruf is partially modelled after King Theoden. His Capital, called Whiterun also shows similarities with Edoras, the Rohirrim Capital.

hmmm, sounds interesting! Hardly surprising however, seeing how Tolkien is a staple in the fantasy genre from whom many have drawn their inspiration from. Myself included~
