Okay look, this was basically the result of a sleep-deprived typo.
Way back when I was chatting with some folks about Mass Effect and typoed Maus Effect somehow, and we all giggled our fool heads off and went 'Someone needs to draw that.'
I did not actually ask him to draw it in Spiegelman's style, but he did, and eerily accurately.
I'm posting this here now because FurAffinity's latest AUP update bans it. For the most part I haven't posted my old uploads on FA here unless I thought they'd be particularly interesting to folks here, but I don't want this to disappear from view.
I mean it's just a visual pun/mashup, and I guess it's in questionable taste, but given Spiegelman's work in alternative comics I doubt he'd do more than go 'pft' at it.
But I can't deny there's a Nazi in it, and part of a swastika, which is banned on FurAffinity now no matter the context.
I actually opened a ticket here asking if this would be OK on IB, but never got a response, so we'll see if anyone complains.
I can understand the reason for the policy. They have a real hate speech problem and they don't have the staffing to judge if something is contextually appropriate or aggrandizing, so just ban the stuff altogether.

let me be frank here, I don't mind them banning it if it involves hate speech as you said, but if it is solely for the sake of something along the lines of a WWII comic then it should be fair game so long as the aforementioned hate speech is absent, same goes for the Confederacy stuff, if someone is using it just to make a Civil War comic but they omit the hate speech then they should be free to do so
